Soon after I became Pastor of Lighthouse Baptist Church, God burdened my heart to train preachers, missionaries, and volunteer workers to do the work of the ministry. In response, Lighthouse Bible Institute was founded in 1985.
God has richly blessed our effort. Many families have moved here just to be a part of what God is doing at the Lighthouse. They found Lighthouse Bible Institute ready to train them for leadership roles in the Lord’s work. Those who are already members of our church family know that the Institute provides sound biblical training without the expense and burden of relocating to another Christian school.

Dear Prospective Student,
At Lighthouse Bible Institute we know that a balanced and thoroughly biblical education is essential to do the Lord’s work. Our curriculum is designed to provide a knowledge of the Bible, a love for God, a burden for souls, and an understanding of the local church.Our instructors have proven themselves faithful in the ministry. We do not employ professional theologians to teach our students. We believe it is better to learn from those who have proven themselves in the ministry rather than from those who know how teach theory only.
Godly preparation produces graduates who can perform what they have learned. All students serve in a ministry of Lighthouse Baptist Church so they can learn the practical application of what is taught in the classroom.
